Mold testing and remediation that stops it coming back
Mold follows moisture. We find the source, test what is in the air and on the surfaces, and remove the growth under containment so it does not spread to the rest of the building.

Common mold questions
What does NYC Local Law 55 require for mold?
Local Law 55 of 2018 requires owners of buildings with three or more apartments to inspect for indoor allergen hazards, including mold, and to correct mold and the moisture problems that cause it using safe work practices.
Do I need a licensed mold company in New York?
For larger jobs, generally more than 10 square feet of mold, New York State requires a licensed mold assessor and a licensed mold remediation contractor. The same company cannot do both on one project, so we coordinate with an independent assessor.
Can I just clean mold with bleach?
Bleach may lighten mold on hard surfaces, but it does not fix the moisture source and does not remove mold that has grown into drywall, wood or insulation. Those materials usually need to be removed under containment.
How long does mold remediation take?
Many apartment jobs take one to three days, plus post-remediation clearance testing. The schedule depends on the size of the affected area and how quickly the moisture source is repaired.
